What can I say for this hotel? It's poor in service and very dirty...to the extent that it's disgusting.
The first day I and my wife stay there, our first impression is the room is small, just enough to put 2 single beds (I requested for a double room as it was my honeymoon trip but it was refused), a table to place the TV on top and the fridge underneath. The bed sheet is smelly and the blankets got stains. I thought they had not been washed for months and they don't have the cover (that means you'll receive from what the previous people leave over). The worst thing was that my tower was torn and my wife's tower got blood stain all over (not sure what kind of blood it was (so disgusting)).
I requested to change the towers and then received towers without blood stains but still were torn.
The receptionist was not very helpful in providing information. We would like to take a trekking trip in the jungle but the lady just did not like to share.
The plus point I could see from this hotel is breakfast is served at my room but again it's very light and simple breakfast (coffee with 4 pieces of bread with butter/strawberry jam)
I paid 256 RM for 2 nights but I definitely could find other hotels cheaper and look better after I strolled around the area. |

The location is very strategic and convenience for us to go anywhere. But our room is facing the main road, so it's quite noisy. Anyway, the bed is confortable and although it's noisy but we still slept soundly.
We'll consider to stay again in Rainbow Hotel for our next visit. |
