Tekam Plantation Resort is strategically located approximately 216 kilometres from Kuala Lumpur and is nestled amidst the vast plantations of Malaysia fringing the oldest rainforest in the world namely Taman Negara.

It is perfect hideaway and a home away from home in every aspect of its natural features and surroundings. Visitors can also arrange for special trips and adventure tours to various places of interest.

The agro-ecosystem offers one an adventure which begins with the plantation tour of crops such as oil palm, cocoa, coffee, rubber, coconut and many tropical fruits. Experience first hand, the harvesting of oil palm bunches, tapping rubber or picking cocoa, coffee and tropical fruits.

One of the highlights of the stay at the Resort is the Plantation Tour, which takes visitors on an educational visit to places such as the Kota Gelanggi Caves, Gunung Senyum Caves as well as surrounding rubber and oil palm plantations.

Meanwhile jungle trekking, fishing, rafting, canoeing together with a variety of recreational facilities make it a challenging venue for team building activity.

The best time to visit the area is, of course during the fruit season from July to September, when local fruits such as durians and rambutans will be plentiful.

How To Get There

Tekam Plantation Resort in Jerantut, Pahang is about 216 km from Kuala Lumpur.

By Road : From Kuala Lumpur, take the Karak Highway and follow Highway 2 onwards to Pekan Awah, turn left into Highway 83 and turn right into Highway 64 From Kuantan use Highway 2 via Maran to Pekan Tajau and turn into Highway 83 via Bandar jengka and turn right into Highway 64.

By Rail : KTM Bhd provides service to Bandar Jengka and Jerantut. The resort management can arrange to pick you up from your stop point with prior notice.

By Bus : A Sri Jengka Express - Kuala Lumpur (Jalan Tun Razak) to Bandar Jengka, Kuantan to Bandar Jengka, Kota Baru to Bandar Jengka, Alor Star to Bandar Jengka - Jerantut to Kuantan (via Temerloh by train; Singapore - Gemas to Jerantut, Kota Bharu to Gua Musang.
